When travelers check into the Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery with a furry family member in tow, they will find their room equipped with an eco-friendly pet bed made from recycled materials by West Paw Design, bowls for food and water and receive a pet welcome amenity that includes a toy, tasty treats and a comprehensive list of pampered pet resources that range from practical- groomers, dog walkers and veterinarians- to over-the-top indulgent- pet acupuncture, psychics and more.

Books that cover everything from the laying-on-of-hands (the dos and don’ts of dog massage) to holistic care, pet psychology and good old fashioned nature worship (the best area hikes for dogs) can be borrowed from the hotel’s pet spiritual menu.

For top quality nosh, the hotel’s pet room service menus features individually packaged recipes of 100% human grade pet food produced by The Honest Kitchen, makers of minimally-processed, dehydrated pet food prepared using whole foods and natural, taste-tested ingredients.

To keep pets safe, guests of the Old No. 77 will find a take home custom-made dog tag that provides the name and phone number of the hotel for pets to wear throughout their stay. Guestrooms are equipped with a VIP door hanger that alert hotel staff when a pet is in the room, should travelers need to leave their pet unaccompanied during their stay.

A $45 fee will be applied once per stay when booking one of the Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery’s pampered pet rooms. Items from the pet room service menu are subject to applicable room service fees and can be delivered to guestrooms or enjoyed in the comfort of the lobby.

Be sure to give us a heads up if your furry friend is joining you on your next stay so we can welcome you both with some good old fashioned Southern hospitality!
